Dog at Large

A resident was bit by a loose dog on May 25, 2015.  The dog is a small brown dog.  The dog was running on Loma Verde Drive. The dog may have come out of a house in the 5800 block of Loma Verde Dr.  The dog disappeared after the attack.  County Animal Services is investigating the incident.  

The purpose of this post is to advise you to please use caution when walking /running in the area.  If you see an aggressive loose dog, you can call County Animal Services at  619-236-2341 or  dial 911.

Financial Elder Abuse

Every year we get calls about phony scams and door to door solicitors.   The crooks like to prey on the elderly.  It is amazing the amount of money that is involved. It ranges from a relative in jail to phony lunch deals to the IRS calling to say you owe money or else!
