Refer to the map below. Please plan your trips that morning. Look for an alternate route. The race should be over by 11:30 or so. If you leave your home and you live within the race route, you may not be able to get back to it until the last runners clear the road.
Below is the letter that we mailed to residents, and the map of the route and closures.
Dear Rancho Santa Fe Resident,
The 47th Annual San
Dieguito Half-Marathon and 5k Walk will be taking place from 7:00 am to 11:30
am on Sunday, February 8th, 2015.
To ensure the safety of all participants
and local residents, the route, detour and roads that will be closed is
shown on the map below. Roads will be reopened by the CHP as each
segment of the course is clear to be opened. EMERGENCY SERVICE VEHICLES will
have access to all of the closed roads to respond to service requests.
The
CHP and San Diego County Sheriff will be providing traffic control. The
marathon will start and finish at San Dieguito County Park on El Camino Real.
